Pliant shareholder Harbinger sells convertible preferred stock, no longer has stake in company

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 5 - Harbinger Capital Partners Master Fund I, Ltd. sold 72,500 shares of Pliant Corp.'s series AA 13% cumulative redeemable convertible preferred stock on Dec. 3 for $0.31 each, it was reported in a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investor and its affiliates no longer have a stake in the Schaumburg, Ill.-based producer of value-added film and flexible packaging products.
