Ashford Hospitality files automatic shelf registration

Philadelphia, April 13 - Ashford Hospitality Trust, Inc. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, debt securities and warrants to purchase common stock or preferred stock.

The Dallas-based real estate investment trust focusing on the hospitality industry said it plans to use proceeds for general corporate purposes.
