Quaker Capital Management slashes stake in Plato Learning to 2.74%

Philadelphia, Oct. 31 - Quaker Capital Management Corp. decreased its investment to 2.74% in Plato Learning, Inc. as of Oct. 24, according to an SC 13G/A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The passive stake represents 657,287 shares.

Those holdings are down from the passive stake of 11.36%, or 2,703,605 shares, that Plato reported on Dec. 31, 2007, according to an earlier SC 13G filing.

According to other previous SC 13G filings, the company reported holdings of 12.34%, or 2,001,300 shares, on Dec. 31, 2006. It reported ownership of 2,461,325 shares, or a 10.37% passive stake, on Oct. 31, 2006.

Plato Learning is a Bloomington, Minn., developer and marketer of educational software and services.
