Accellent talks $315 million seven-year notes with 9 7/8% area yield

St. Louis, Oct. 19 - Accellent Inc. talked its $315 million offering of seven-year senior subordinated notes (Caa2/CCC+) with a 9 7/8% area yield, according to a buyside source.

The order books were scheduled to close at 5 p.m. ET on Tuesday, the source added.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the left-side joint bookrunner for the Rule 144A and Regulation S offering. UBS Investment Bank is the joint bookrunner.

Accellent Holdings plans to use the net proceeds to finance its separately announced tender offer for its $295 million of 10½% senior subordinated notes due 2013.

Accellent is a Wilmington, Mass.-based provider of manufacturing and engineering services to the medical device industry.
