Pinnacle Airlines report: Net loss narrows to $2.52 million in July

Pittsburgh, Aug. 24 - Pinnacle Airlines Corp. posted a net loss of $2.52 million for July on total operating revenue of $71.13 million, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Those figures compare to a $28.95 million net loss reported for June on total operating revenue of $80.5 million.

Operating income for July was $1.58 million, down from $5.9 million in June.

The company also reported cash and cash equivalents of $49.13 million as of July 31, up from $31.75 million at June 30.

Pinnacle, a Memphis-based operator of a regional airline, filed for bankruptcy on April 1. The Chapter 11 case number is 12-11343.
