Pima County, Ariz., plans to price $50 million COPs

Springdale, Ark., June 5 - Pima County, Ariz., intends to price $50 million certificates of participation, according to a preliminary official statement.

The series 2008 COPs (A1/A+/) have maturities from June 1, 2009 through June 1, 2011.

RBC Capital Markets will manage the negotiated sale.

Proceeds will be used to finance the acquisition of leased property, including portions of the public works building, legal services building and a parking garage, and to fund expansion and upgrades to the county's sewer treatment system and roads.
