Quercus Trust ups stake in Ascent Solar

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 4 - The Quercus Trust bought 478,163 shares of Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. stock between July 24 and Aug. 30 priced from $6.84 to $9.83 per share as an investment.

According to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the reporting persons own 699,763 shares, or 6.4%, of the Littleton, Colo.-based company, which develops thin-film photovoltaic materials.
