Aberdeen Asset lowers stake in Physicians Formula to less than 5%

Philadelphia, Jan. 8 - Aberdeen Asset Management plc cut its equity investment to less than 5% in Physicians Formula Holdings, Inc. as of Jan. 7, according to an SC 13G/A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Those holdings are down from the passive stake of 8.97%, or 1,265,816 shares, that Aberdeen Asset reported on Jan. 10, 2008.

Physicians Formula is Azusa, Calif., maker of cosmetics.
