New Issue: Philippines sells PHP 14.89 billion 4¼% three-year treasury bonds

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 23 – The Philippines Bureau of the Treasury auctioned PHP 14.89 billion of 4¼% bonds due 2021 for an average yield of 4.256% on Tuesday, according to a notice.
The government initially offered PHP 20 billion of the bonds. Competitive bids were tendered for PHP 39.1 billion and accepted for PHP 14.89 billion. There were no non-competitive bids.
Yields ranged from 4.125% to 4.37%, with an average yield of 4.256%.
