New Issue: Philippines' PHP 4.12 billion 11¼% bonds due 2031 yield 8.024%

New York, Jan. 18 - The Philippines Bureau of the Treasury announced that it sold PHP 4.121 billion in a reopening of its 11¼% bonds due Jan. 26, 2031 for an average yield of 8.024% on Tuesday.

For the PHP 9 billion offering, competitive bids were tendered for PHP 8.001 billion and accepted for PHP 4.101 billion.

Non-competitive bids were received and accepted for PHP 20 million.

The bonds were sold at an average price of 131.876, with prices ranging from 130.647 to 136.907.

Yields ranged from 7 5/8% to 8 1/8%, with an average yield of 8.024%.
