New York, May 25 - The Philippines Bureau of the Treasury announced that is sold PHP 8.5 billion in an auction of its 8¾% bonds due May 27, 2030 for an average yield of 8.729%.
For the PHP 8.5 billion offering, bids were tendered for PHP 26.98 billion and accepted for PHP 8.5 billion.
The bonds were sold at an average price of 100.
Yields ranged from 8.6% to 8.8%, with an average yield of 8.729%.
