New Issue: Philippines sells PHP 8.21 billion 7% seven-year bonds at 6.983% yield

New York, March 30 - The Philippines Bureau of the Treasury announced that is sold PHP 8.21 billion in an auction of its 7% bonds due March 31, 2017 for an average yield of 6.983%.

For the PHP 8.5 billion offering, bids were tendered for PHP 14.197 billion and accepted for PHP 8.21 billion.

The bonds were sold at an average price of 100, with yields ranging from 6¾% to 7.123% with an average yield of 6.983%.
