New Issue: Philippines prices PHP 8 billion five-year bonds at 105.533 to yield 5.007%

New York, Oct. 12 - The Philippines Bureau of the Treasury announced that it issued PHP 8 billion of 6 3/8% bonds due May 13, 2015 at an average yield of 5.007%.

Competitive bids were received for PHP 17.565 billion of the securities, and, of those, PHP 7.45 billion was accepted.

Non-competitive bids were received and accepted for PHP 550 million.

The bonds were sold at an average price of 105.533, with prices ranging from 105.771 to 105.382.

Yields ranged from 4.95% to 5.043%.

The original issue date of the series PIBD0515E685 bonds was May 13, 2010.
