New Issue: Philippines adds PHP 1.5 billion to 8.75% bonds due 2013 to yield 7.099%

New York, Aug. 26 - The Philippines Bureau of the Treasury said it sold a PHP 1.5 billion add on to its 8.75% Treasury bonds due March 3, 2013 at an average price of 106.28 to yield 7.099% in an auction Tuesday.

The Bureau of the Treasury was offering up to PHP 7 billion of the bonds. PHP 13.46 billion of bids were received, but PHP 12.01 billion were rejected.

The low rate was 7.090% and the high was 7.115%.
