Philippines files $315.78 million debt securities, warrants shelf registration

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 22 - The Republic of the Philippines filed a $315.78 million debt securities and warrants shelf registration in a schedule B filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company had previously registered $1.68 billion in unsold securities, bringing its total to $2 billion.

Proceeds will be used for the general purposes of the republic, including for budget support and to repay a portion of the government's borrowings.
