S&P raises outlook on Indiana's Ascension Health debt to positive

Standard & Poor's said it upgraded the outlook on all of Ascension Health, Mo.'s debt issued by Indiana Health Facility Finance Authority to positive from stable. The rating is AA.

At the same time, S&P affirmed its AA long-term rating and underlying rating on Ascension's approximately $3.7 billion of revenue bonds and its AA- long-term rating on Ascension's $601 million of series 2005A subordinated revenue bonds.

S&P also said it affirmed its A-1+ short-term rating on Ascension's commercial paper programs and on its various variable-rate demand bonds.
