New Issue: Philadelphia School District, Pa., prices $219.11 million of G.O. bonds

New York, Nov. 23 - The Philadelphia School District of Pennsylvania sold $219.11 million of series 2011 general obligation bonds, said a pricing sheet.

The deal included $144.625 million of series 2011A taxable qualified school construction bonds, $16.97 million of series 2011B bonds, $41.185 million of series 2011C bonds and $16.33 million of series 2011D bonds.

The 2011A bonds are due Sept. 1, 2030 and have a 5.995% coupon priced at par. The 2011B bonds are due 2012 to 2021 with 2% to 3.25% coupons. The 2011C bonds are due 2012 to 2021 with coupons from 2% to 5%. The 2011D bonds are due 2013 to 2021 with coupons from 3% to 5%.

The bonds (Aa2//AA) were sold through RBC Capital Markets LLC.

Proceeds will be used to refund existing notes due in July 2012.
