Philadelphia slated to sell $142 million in revenue bonds on Thursday

New York, May 11 - The city of Philadelphia is set to sell $142 million in series 2009 water and wastewater revenue bonds on Thursday, according to a sales calendar.

A retail order period will be conducted Tuesday.

The bonds (A3/A/A-) will be sold through senior manager Banc of America Securities LLC.

Proceeds will be used to fund capital improvements to the city's water and wastewater system.
