Chicago, June 1 - PetroChina Co. Ltd. said it issued RMB 15 billion of 3.35% five-year medium-term notes at par in a deal that settled May 26.
The offering was the third tranche of medium-term notes in 2009.
Citic Securities Co., Ltd. and China Construction Bank Corp. are the lead underwriters.
The company said on May 18 that it planned to issue up to RMB 26 billion of medium-term notes on the inter-bank debt market.
PetroChina said the resolution passed at a shareholder meeting on July 31 and considers "the current position of the debt capital market."
PetroChina is a Beijing-based energy firm.
