Brazil's Petrobras to issue dollar notes due 2016, 2019, 2023, 2043

Atlanta, May 13 - Brazil's Petroleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) is planning to issue dollar-denominated global notes due in 2016, 2019, 2023 and 2043 and floating-rate notes due in 2016 and 2019, according to a company filing.

The global notes due 2016 will mature on May 20, the 2019s will mature on Jan. 15, the 2023s will mature on May 20 and the 2043s will mature on May 20.

The floating-rate notes due 2016 will mature May 20, and the 2019s will mature on Jan. 15.

BB Securities, BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, HSBC, Itau BBA, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley are the bookrunners for the Securities and Exchange Commission-registered deal.

The proceeds will be used for capital expenditures and general corporate purposes.

The notes will be issued by subsidiary Petrobras Global Finance BV.

Petrobras is an energy company based in Rio de Janeiro.
