New Issue: Brazil's Petrobras reopens 5 7/8% 10-year notes for $750 million at Treasuries plus 205 bps

New York, Jan. 8 - Petroleo Brasileiro SA (//BBB-) reopened its 5 7/8% 10-year global notes for $750 million, pricing the add on at 100.113, according to a market source.

The price brought a spread of 205 basis points over Treasuries.

Citigroup and HSBC acted as bookrunners for the deal, which was sold via financing vehicle Petrobras International Finance Co. BNP Paribas was co-manager.

The bonds have a make-whole call at Treasuries plus 25 bps.

Proceeds from the sale will be used for general corporate purposes, which may include the repayment of debt.

The original $1 billion offering was priced on Oct. 30, 2007.

Petrobras is a Rio de Janeiro-based government-run oil producer.
