New York, Oct. 30 - Petroleo Brasileiro SA priced $1 billion of 10-year senior unsecured notes (Baa1/BBB-/BBB-) to yield Treasuries plus 167 basis points, according to a term sheet.
The deal priced on top of talk, which had been tightened from the Treasuries plus 170 bps area.
The 5 7/8% notes came at 98.612 to yield 6.059%. They mature on March 1, 2018.
Citigroup and UBS are bookrunners for the registered offering form the Sao Paulo, Brazil-based oil producer.
