Peru taps four banks for dollar-denominated global bond offering

By Marisa Wong

Morgantown, W.Va., June 11 – The Republic of Peru plans to offer dollar-denominated global bonds, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Santander Investment Securities Inc. and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. are the bookrunners and global coordinators for the Regulation S offering.

The republic plans to use the proceeds to finance a liability management transaction and to pre-finance a portion of its general requirements for fiscal year 2020.
