Peru selects banks, sets roadshow for dual tranches of notes

By Rebecca Melvin

New York, Oct. 3 – The Republic of Peru has selected bookrunners and scheduled a roadshow regarding two offerings of notes, including a benchmark-sized offering of PEN-denominated, euroclearable bonds under Rule 144A and Regulation S and a U.S. dollar-denominated note registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, according to a market source.

Both tranches will be intermediate to long maturities.

JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Santander and Scotia are arranging the fixed-income investor meetings to be held in the United States and Europe from Oct. 5-10. Both issues and a liability management exercise are expected to follow subject to market conditions.
