Peru talks euro benchmark notes due in 2030 at 295-300 bps spread

By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, Feb. 23 – Peru set talk at mid-swaps plus 295 basis points to 300 bps for a euro-denominated offering of benchmark-sized notes due March 1, 2030, a market source said.

The sovereign held an investor call on Monday morning to discuss the possibility of issuing notes.

BBVA, BNP Paribas and HSBC are the bookrunners for the Securities and Exchange Commission-registered deal.

The proceeds will be used to pre-finance a portion of the general financial requirements for the year 2017, according to a filing from the sovereign.
