Peru to prepay debt to Paris Club countries

Des Moines, May 23 - The Government of Peru will prepay about $2.535 billion of debt to countries that are members of the Paris Club, according to a Paris Club news release.

The debt will be prepaid at par on Oct. 1. The debt will be paid up to 2015.

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States are the involved creditors.
