Moody’s assigns Baa2 to Perusahaan Listrik Negara notes

Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 rating to the proposed senior unsecured notes to be sold by PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN).

The notes are rated in line with the company’s Baa2 rating. Indonesia owns the company and Moody’s said it takes that into account in rating the company.

Proceeds will be used for capital spending and for general corporate purposes.

The outlook is stable.
