New York, June 30 – Indonesia’s Perusahaan Perseroan (Persero) PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara issued $500 million of 3% notes (Baa2//BBB) due 2030 and $1 billion of 4% notes due 2050, according to Singapore Stock Exchange notices.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc., the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corp. Ltd., Mandiri Securities Pte. Ltd. and Standard Chartered Bank were the lead managers and bookrunners of the notes, which will be listed on Wednesday.
Proceeds will be used to partially fund capital expenditures and for general corporate purposes.
PLN is electric company owned by the Indonesian government and is based in Jakarta.
