Moody's: Perth Airport notes Baa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Baa3 ratings to Perth Airport Pty Ltd.'s $270 million and A$30 million of senior secured fixed-rate notes.

The rating is on review for possible upgrade.

Moody's said the Baa3 rating reflects Perth Airport's dominant market position in commercial air travel for the isolated city of Perth.

It also recognizes Western Australia's high dependence on air travel to meet the requirements of remote resource project developments, which are driving economic outperformance in the state, the agency said.
