Performance Transportation unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Nov. 28 - Performance Transportation Services, Inc.'s U.S. Trustee appointed the official committee of unsecured creditors for the company's Chapter 11 case, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York.

The committee includes Robert Coco of Central States Southeast & Southwest Areas Pension and Health and Welfare Funds, Rosemont, Ill.; Fred Zuckerman of Teamsters National Automobile Transporters, Washington, D.C.; Dean Frankel of Relational LLC, Rolling Meadows, Ill.; Jon R. Levine of Doremus Newark LLC, Needham, Mass.; and David Clemons of Strategic Protection Group, Inc., Oak Park, Mich.

Performance Transportation Services, a Detroit-based transporter of new automobiles, sport utility vehicles and light trucks, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 19. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-04746.
