Charlotte, N.C., June 20 - Perceptronix Medical Inc. said it completed a C$5.5 million round of private financing.
Proceeds will be used as a bridge to an anticipated larger follow-on private placement.
"This is a very exciting time in the life of Perceptronix which is now in transition from development to commercialization, having received regulatory approvals for a number of our products in North America and Europe in the past four months," chairman and chief executive officer Milton Wong said in a company news release.
British Columbia Investment Management Corp. joined other new and existing investors in the financing.
Perceptronix is a cancer diagnostics company based in Vancouver, B.C.
