China’s PICC redeems capital supplementary bonds due 2028 early

Chicago, June 7 – People’s Insurance Co. (Group) of China Ltd. (PICC) announced the redemption of its RMB 18 billion capital supplementary bonds that were issued with a 10-year tenor on June 7, 2018, but had a first optional call date on June 7.

The company used the call date and completed the redemption, fully redeeming the bonds.

The insurance company is based in Beijing.
