Moody's rates People's United notes A3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A3 rating to the subordinated notes due 2024 issued by People's United Bank, which is the lead bank of People's United Financial, Inc. (A3 long-term issuer rating). The ratings are under review for downgrade.

The agency said rating assigned to the subordinated notes reflects its normal notching practices.
