Fitch: People's Leasing commercial paper gets F1(lka)

Fitch Ratings said it assigned People's Leasing Co. plc's (A+(lka)/stable) proposed commercial paper issue of up to LKR 1 billion an F1(lka) national short-term rating.

The proposed issuance will be used to the company's working capital and lending.

The ratings reflect Fitch's view that its parent, People's Bank (PB, AA(lka)/stable), is likely to extend support in a stressed scenario, if required.
