S&P rates Penske Truck Leasing Canada notes BBB

S&P said it assigned its BBB issue-level rating to Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc.’s proposed senior unsecured notes.

“Our BBB issuer credit rating on U.S. parent Penske Truck Leasing Co. LP reflects its strong market positions in full-service truck leasing and commercial truck rentals,” said S&P in a news release.

Proceeds will be used to refinance debt and for general corporate purposes.
