Moody's rates Pennsylvania's revenue bonds A1
Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A1 underlying rating and stable outlook to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's $187.5 million of fixed-rate (federally taxable) revenue bonds, series A of 2008 issued by the Commonwealth Financing Authority.
The series A bonds are expected to be insured by a provider rated by Moody's. Subject to a review of the insurance policy, the bonds will carry the financial strength rating of the insurance provider.
Sale of the bonds was expected on Tuesday.
