Pennsylvania calls $173.7 million 5%, 5.125% series 2001 G.O. bonds

Cleveland, Dec. 15 - The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania announced that it will redeem its $173.7 million of series 2001 general obligation bonds.
The bonds will be redeemed on Jan. 15 at 101% plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
The following bonds will be redeemed:
• $17.63 million of 5% bonds due Jan. 15, 2012;
• $17.63 million of 5% bonds due Jan. 15, 2013;
• $17.63 million of 5.125% bonds due Jan. 15, 2014;
• $17.63 million of 5.125% bonds due Jan. 15, 2015;
• $17.63 million of 5.125% bonds due Jan. 15, 2016;
• $17.63 million of 5.125% bonds due Jan. 15, 2017;
• $17.63 million of 5.125% bonds due Jan. 15, 2018;
• $17.62 million of 5.125% bonds due Jan. 15, 2019;
• $16.395 million of 5.125% bonds due Jan. 15, 2020; and
• $16.275 million of 5.125% bonds due Jan. 15, 2021.
U.S. Bank NA is the redemption agent.
