Pennsylvania plans to sell $689.63 million in refunding G.O. bonds

New York, Aug. 17 - Pennsylvania will offer $689.625 million of its second refunding series 2009 general obligation bonds, according to a preliminary offering statement.

The competitive bonds will carry serial maturities from 2010 to 2021.

The state will accept bids until 11 a.m. on Aug. 25.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to refund bonds which mature from 2000 to 2021.
