Pennsylvania to enter market with first 2009 refunding issue May 19

New York, May 5 - Pennsylvania announced plans to issue its first refunding issue of 2009 on May 19, according to a press release.

Other details of the offering were not disclosed.

The bonds will tentatively refund a portion of the state's $164.2 million in outstanding debt.
