Penn Series Mid Cap Value Fund appoints Greene as portfolio manager

San Diego, Dec. 14 - Penn Series Funds, Inc. announced that Michael C. Greene has been appointed portfolio manager of the Penn Series Mid Cap Value Fund, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Greene is a managing director of Neuberger Berman Management LLC, the investment subadviser, and Neuberger Berman LLC and joined the firm in 2008. Prior to that, he was chief executive officer and chief investment officer from 1985 to 2008 at an investment adviser firm that was acquired by Neuberger Berman in 2008.

S. Basu Mullick no longer serves as portfolio manager of the fund.

The fund's investment adviser is Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Independence Capital Management, Inc.
