Gamco and Gabelli continue to invest in Pennichuck, stake now 9.67%

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 8 - Gamco Asset Management Inc. and Gabelli Funds, LLC raised their ownership interest in Pennichuck Corp. to 9.67% from their stake as of July 31 of 8.63%.

According to a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the investors bought 42,900 shares of the company's stock between July 31 and Aug. 7 at prices from $22.40 to $23.58.

The investors bought 50,660 shares between June 18 and July 29 priced from $20.23 to $23.39 each, a prior SEC filing noted.

Gamco, Gabelli and their affiliated funds beneficially own 410,049 shares of the company's outstanding stock.

Pennichuck is a potable water company located in Merrimack, N.H.
