New Issue: Pemex sells Ps. 15 million notes in two tranches

Pittsburgh, Feb. 11 - Petroleos Mexicanos said it issued Ps. 15 million of certifacados bursatiles (mxAAA/AAA(mex)/mx.AAA) in two tranches.

The company issued Ps. 7.5 million of five-year notes with an interest rate of 91-day Cetes plus 51 basis points and Ps. 7.5 million of eight-year notes with an interest rate of 182-day Cetes plus 57 basis points.

Demand was Ps. 42 million, 2.8 times the total amount issued.

The placement agents were Acciones y Valores Banamex SA de CV, Casa de Bolsa BBVA Bancomer SA de CV and ING (Mexico) SA de CV.

Pemex is a Mexico City-based state-owned oil monopoly.
