Mexico's Pemex plans to raise $1 billion to $2 billion in 2007

New York, March 22 - Petroleos Mexicanos intends to raise between $1 billion and $2 billion to finance its investment program for 2007, according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Mexico City-based state-owned oil monopoly said that $4.4 billion of new financing was raised during 2006, comprised of $2 billion from export credit agencies, $1.5 billion from the international capital markets and $0.9 billion from the Mexican capital market.
