Mexico’s Pemex guides offering of five- and 10-year dollar notes

By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, Dec. 6 – Petroleos Mexicanos SAB de CV (Pemex) set talk for two of the three tranches in its offering of fixed- and floating-rate dollar-denominated notes due in five and 10 years, a market source said Tuesday.

The five-year fixed-rate notes were talked at a yield in the low-6% area.

The 10-year fixed-rate notes were talked at a yield in the low-7% area.

The company is also expected to price an offering of five-year floating-rate notes.

BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, JPMorgan, Mizuho Securities and Morgan Stanley are the bookrunners for the deal.

Pemex is a petroleum company based in Mexico City.
