Value Fund buys 200,000 shares of Peerless Systems

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 17 - Peerless Systems Corp. investors led by Value Fund Advisors, LLC bought a total of 200,000 shares of the company's stock on Nov. 14 and Nov. 15.

The shares were priced at $1.87 and $1.79 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors beneficially own 1,195,982 shares or 6.9% of the El Segundo, Calif.-based company. Peerless provides software-based imaging systems for digital document products.
