Pearl Total Return, Aggressive Growth funds to terminate in September

San Diego, Dec. 19 - The board of trustees of Pearl Mutual Funds announced it intends to close and liquidate the Pearl Total Return Fund and the Pearl Aggressive Growth Fund, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Effective immediately, shares are no longer available for purchase by new investors. Existing shareholders can continue to invest in the funds until April 30 at 4:00 p.m. ET.

Shareholders may redeem their shares during the liquidation process. The fund's securities will be liquidated beginning Aug. 31, and the mandatory redemption of any remaining outstanding shares will occur about Sept. 28.

The funds' investment manager is Muscatine, Iowa-based Pearl Management Co.
