Payden & Rygel's Panait retires from emerging markets bond fund, Jenkins, Hovsepian step in as managers

Minneapolis, Nov. 2 - Payden Emerging Markets Bond Fund announced that portfolio manager Cristina Panait retired from Payden & Rygel and the investment management industry on Oct. 7. Payden & Rygel is investment adviser to the fund.

Nigel Jenkins, a principal of Payden & Rygel, and Arthur Hovsepian, a senior vice president of the firm, both of whom have been members of the investment management team for the fund, are now also portfolio managers for the fund. Jenkins has been with the firm for six years, and Hovsepian has been with the firm for seven years.

Kristin Ceva, managing principal of Payden & Rygel, who has been with the firm 14 years, continues as a portfolio manager for the fund.

Payden & Rygel is a Los Angeles-based investment management firm.
