Moody’s rates Gallagher notes Baa2

Moody’s Investors Service said it rated Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.’s expected 10-year and 30-year senior unsecured notes Baa2.

The agency affirmed AJG’s Baa2 issuer rating and assigned the Baa2 senior unsecured rating on May 12, 2021.

The company intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including funding future acquisitions.

The outlook is stable.
