Paraguay taps banks, sets roadshow for potential benchmark notes

New York, March 1 – The Republic of Paraguay named banks and announced a roadshow on Thursday for a potential U.S. dollar-denominated benchmark offering of notes, according to New York-based sources.

Citigroup and JPMorgan will act as joint bookrunners to arrange a series of fixed-income meetings beginning on March 6.

A Rule 144A and Regulation S transaction may follow subject to market conditions.
