Paraguay launches $600 million offering of 10-year notes at 5% yield

Atlanta, March 23 – Paraguay launched a $600 million offering of 10-year notes (expected ratings: Ba1/BB/BB) at a yield of 5%, a market source said.

BofA Merrill Lynch and Itau are the bookrunners for the deal, which was upsized from $500 million.

The proceeds will be used for financing of infrastructure and debt, as well as for capital expenditures.
